Mica is a natural silicate mineral mined from the earth and processed into thin films. Due to its chemical structure, It remains tough but flexible, even at high temperature. It can also be bent to fit concave windows and is often used in old antique stoves.

When MICA is being processed it is split through it’s lamination’s into sheets as you would slice a potato.  As it is carved from a natural source, it will never be fully clear and often will have blemishes.

This product can be cut with scissors to the required size and glued in with a heat resistant bond.
